The American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) will be prowling around Denver, Colorado, Oct. 19-22.
The AAFP conference prides itself (pardon the pun) on offering learning tracks at its conference that meet the needs of attendees in the varied stages of their professional development.
This year’s theme is ‘Feline Infectious Diseases and Pediatrics’.
“This conference will join together veterinary healthcare professionals who are dedicated to increasing their feline knowledge and who are passionate about elevating the standard of care for cats,” state organizers.
The AAFP have applied for 48.5 hours of continuing education (CE) credits for Veterinarians and Technicians (maximum of 31 for any individual vet or technician). A link to the program can be found here: https://www.catvets.com/education/conference/educational-program-2017
While in Denver, you might try advising the locals that their nickname ‘Mile High City’ is erroneous because Denver is actually 5,278 feet above sea level (2 feet short of a mile).
Alternatively, you can enjoy the former gold-rush city that stands at the entrance to the Rocky Mountains. You can check out some ideas here: https://www.denver.org/
You can also come and meet us!
Dragon Veterinary will be there with our voice recognition software specially tailored to the veterinary industry. Our software works hand-in glove with your practice management system to allow you do all your data entry – from patient reports to prescriptions and reminder notes – with your Nuance Dictaphone instead of a keyboard.
Plus we’re just nice to talk to and we like cats.
