APVC 2022

Dragon Veterinary is proud to be exhibiting at the Atlantic Provinces Veterinary Conference this weekend in our hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Join us at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront April 22-23, 2022

APVC 2022 sessions cover a variety of topics of interest to veterinarians, techs, support staff, and business managers. From Dental care, Urinalysis, Thoracic surgery and more. APVC is also offering free yoga and fun-run activities on Saturday morning before breakfast!

While you’re in Halifax, here are some attractions to enjoy!

Brewery Market

Saturday mornings from 8am to 1pm the Brewery Market comes alive bringing the best of Nova Scotia together - vendors and community for a weekly market gathering of local Nova Scotia small-scale farmers, artisans and prepared food vendors in the courtyards and rooms of a 200-year-old, granite & ironstone heritage building on the Halifax Waterfront.

Halifax Public Gardens

The Halifax Public Gardens are Victorian-era public gardens formally established in 1867, the year of the Canadian Confederation. The gardens are located in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia on the Halifax Peninsula near the popular shopping district of Spring Garden Road and opposite Victoria Park. The gardens were designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1984.

Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk

The Halifax Waterfront is one of the most-visited destinations in all of Nova Scotia. Stroll the nearly 4-kilometre boardwalk which spans from the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 to Casino Nova Scotia. Along the way explore museums, browse boutique shops, dine at waterfront restaurants, take a harbour tour, grab a ferry to Dartmouth, watch boats of all sizes come and go, and end the day on a patio watching the sunset over the harbour.
